Our standards
Editorial policy
The rules we hold ourselves to. If we break one, tell us — and we'll fix it in public.
Independence
Our recommendations are ours. No brand pays for placement, scores or verdicts, no manufacturer gives us gear, and no commission rate changes a ranking. When the cheaper product is the better buy, we say so — even when it costs us money. See how we make money for the full picture.
Sourcing and citation
- Specifications are attributed to their manufacturer source and treated as claims, not facts we verified ourselves.
- Third-party test data(robot tests, launch-monitor numbers) is cited by name and linked to the outlet that produced it. We never present someone else's testing as ours.
- Prices render only from the live Amazon data layer, stamped with a date. No hand-typed or estimated numbers, ever.
- We do not run a testing lab, and we never imply we do. Our full method is on the methodology page.
No fabrication
We do not invent ratings, review counts, testimonials, awards, credentials, or years of experience. Club & Carry is a new brand written by an enthusiast, and we say exactly that. Because we have no customers, there is no customer testimonials section and no aggregate-rating markup on this site — inventing either would be a firing offense, not an oversight.
Accuracy and update cadence
- Every published page carries a visible last-updated date.
- Roundups are reviewed at least every six months, and on major product releases, with real re-evaluation — not just a date bump.
- Prices stay accurate continuously via the live data layer, with the 48-hour freshness gate removing anything stale.
Corrections
If we get a fact wrong, we want to know. Flag it via our contact page, and we aim to correct material errors within 48 hours, with a visible note on the page where it matters. Freshness and accuracy are a discipline, not a one-time event — and they're a big part of how a value-first site earns trust.
