Kirkland Signature Golf Ball Review (2026): Still the Value King?

The Kirkland Signature is the reason this whole site exists: a soft, urethane-covered ball that plays close to a tour ball, sold two dozen at a time for a fraction of what a Pro V1 costs per ball.

Costco's golf ball became a phenomenon because it broke the industry's central bargain — that a real urethane cover, the thing that produces tour-level greenside spin, has to cost premium money. It doesn't. For a player who can compress the ball and use spin, the Kirkland gets you most of the way to a tour ball for a small fraction of the price. For a player who can't yet, it's still a soft, pleasant, capable ball — you just won't notice the urethane advantage, and a cheaper ionomer ball would serve you as well.

The one catch: availability

The Kirkland is Costco-exclusive at retail, so it comes and goes. Amazon listings are third-party, and stock and price move around.
